INTRODUCING...

We are a small but passionate team of parents, dedicated to supporting the highest level of education and psycho-social development for the children of Little Gaddesden C of E Primary School. We believe that our children are the future, and integral part of the wonderful community of Little Gaddesden. Sadly, Government's today do not provide all the funds needed and therefore it is down to us as parents, and the wider local community, to raise additional funds and give our time to support our school, so even if you do not fancy a formal role in the charity, we welcome you to join in helping to organise, and attend events.

FRIENDS COMMITTEE

Dani Bailey, Co-Chair

I have two boys at Little Gaddesden School. I’ve been Co-Chair for three years. I have loved being part of “Friends” it’s a very sociable and fun charity, in which we raise a great amount of funds for our beloved village school. Every penny raised goes to the children of Little Gaddesden School to enrich their school life, and give them as many opportunities and new experiences as we can.

Carly Nair, Co-Chair

I have two boys attending currently Little Gaddesden, and have tried to help out where I can over the years. That's included being class rep and helping at events and with social media updates. I hope my new role of Co-Chair will enable me to provide even more support, to help build a solid foundation for the future of the school.

Hannah Jarvis, Co-Secretary

I’m Hannah and this is my 3rd year as Co-Secretary and with 3 kids in the school, it is so important to me to support it and help to raise as much money as possible! As well as the fundraising side, it’s brill to be part of such a fun team. We work closely together to create events that bring the school and wider community together.

Claire Beard, Co-Secretary

My two girls love getting involved in school life and so do I - this is my third year as Co-Secretary. Yes, it can be hard work, but that is completely outweighed by the fun we have raising money for the school and in turn furthering our children's education. I have made amazing friends through my work with The Friends, and love the feeling of togetherness each event and fundraiser brings. It's great to be involved!

Claire Naylor, Treasurer

Hi, I’m Mum, mum of two. I’ve run my own businesses for the last 10 years, and wanted to help “the school” and “the friends”. As treasurer I deal with the accounts, and help organise and run events when I’m able. It’s really great to be able to support the school with a team of energetic, generous, and like minded people.
