About the event
This will be held at the school and will be followed by a meeting to discuss the upcoming Christmas Fayre. As per previous years, responsibilities will be allocated as follows:
- Reception: Christmas crafts
- Year 1: Tombola
- Year 2: Turkey cobs
- Year 3: Cake stall & cafe
- Year 4: Face painting
- Year 5: Santa’s grotto
- Year 6: Games room
Other fundraising As outlined last week, for additional fundraising over the year and as it was so successful last year, each class has been allocated a time in the school calendar year to organise an event - it can be anything, eg a quiz night, a jumble sale, a sponsored event... anything. Your job will be to get together, plan and organise the event. The committee will, of course, help and support. The timings are:
- Class 1: Jan/Feb
- Class 2: March/April
- Class 3: May/June
- Class 4: Christmas cards & end of year disco
