FOLGS is a charity, run by parents, that supports the Little Gaddesden C of E Primary School, based in Hertfordshire. Our parents are major contributors to the charity, as are our local community, through the support and time they give to organising and attending fundraising events. The funds raised go directly to the school to enhance the educational experience of our children.
In 2018 we took on the running of the established Gaddesden Gallop - a 5k and 10k race around the wonderful local countryside - for the first time. The event is well supported by avid and local runners alike, and continues to be a highlight of the FOLGS annual events calendar.
With reduced funds from Government, the role of our PTA is critical in providing much needed financial and time resources to ensure the highest level of educational provision for our children. Our amazing teachers can only do so much in the time they have. Our support means they can focus on delivering their expertise - teaching.

Raising funds is a challenge though. Nationally run companies tend to support global Charities, so our search for our much needed event prizes and sponsorship means we need to draw on the support of our local community. To these people and businesses we are most grateful.
